“IN WITH THE NEW, OUT WITH THE OLD” Social
Sunday, January 10th 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. at the Military Family Resource Center on the Jericho Army base. If you haven’t been before, please call to get specific directions. The entrances are closed from 4th Ave and Highbury near 4th Ave. Enter from Highbury Street (one block west of Alma) near 7 th Ave.
Did your children receive a number of new toys, clothes, etc. over the holidays? Are you inundated with ‘too much’ stuff? Sift through your items and decide which ones you (and your children) could do without (new or old, it doesn’t matter, as long as it is still in good shape). Wash them up and bring them with you. At the meeting, others can decide which ‘new’ items they would like to take home with them, and the remainder will be donated to a charity.
Our wonderful volunteers will be helping again with the little ones with various activities, including arts & crafts, dress-up and reading so the parents can concentrate on choosing new items and chatting about the holidays.
